Talking Dos

I finally changed my windoze to 98SE (Millenium Edition sucks) and as I'm too used to linux I took Konsole when first problem appeared.

Now, I have realized that MS-DOS is totally handicapped text based... well... OS.

It has terribly little commands and I managed to delete one of the commands for fun (recovered from recycled afterwards)

You can do nothing practical with it. Except QBASIC programming.

BTW, what on earth happened to Norton Commander???

De Icaza, when he was working on the development of Gnome, created a clone to Norton Commander specifically because he thought it rocked. Midnight Commander, available with most of the distros, if not all of them.

Cheers,
