to run a dos program, use dosemu. simple as that. it'll be on your distro cd's
win4lin cost LOTS of money, and i'd guess VMware is WAY WAY WAY over the top for a dos program. VMware creates an entire 'virtual machine' inside linux with then can boot windows, but that's usign a sledghammer to crack isajera's nuts (Walnuts of course... I hear she likes them...)
I believe that dosemu is extremely good at running basic dos programs, something wine or such like can struggle with, cos it's not directly aimed at it.

me? correct me if i'm wrong, but when i checked yesterday, you had over thirty posts less than me. now you're like two behind me.
besides... i'm an unemployed geek. i reserve the right to go flaky every once in a while, and as long as nobody is standing to close to me at the time, no one gets hurt .
you two are funny.. i think i come here most often sometimes just to see both of you bicker at one another...
but i think all three of us spend way too much time here.. like isajera, i am unemployed right now too, i wouldn't go as far to call myself a geek though.. ... but i just came up with the money to get back into school to get my sun certs for solaris.. exciting.. no more boredom soon starting next month for me...
