Post Connect to NFS shares from Windows?

I've been using a samba server to connect to our *nix filesystems here at work, but the samba server is painfully slow, whereas the NFS fileserver is very quick (from a networking point of view). I've googled a bit and come across the Microsoft's SFU (Services for Unix) which seems to include an NFS client, but it seems mostly designed for Windows 2003... is this correct? All I want to do is access my NFS space from Windows. Are there other programs which have just this in mind?

Any thoughts welcome.

MS SFU works with XP Pro, and the Cygwin package list has a nfs-server available but no client. Don't know anything about nfs myself.

I'm in the process of downloading the SFU package. It's going at a measly 61.5 kB/s so it's taking ages, but I'll report back when I've had a go at using it.

This thread seems to have some useful info in it too.

I tried SFU a while ago - only the GNU tools, etc - but the versions were older than those in Cygwin or MSys, so I dumped it. Also, there's a .sh script used to download extra stuff, and I had problems with that. I read somewhere that Debian were going to start porting software to it, if so, that would be an improvement.
