cedega woes... must have my call of duty!

ive been all over the net to find solutions to this problem, and im not convinced i gotta be missing something really small. ill first state my system specs: AMD 3200+ Nvidia 5900 128 (Golden Sample) 1 Gig of ram on a A7N8X-X motherboard, 120gb and 160gb harddrives. running a dual boot between slack and xp.

Problem: i installed cedega and call of duty (via loki) with no problem on my linux partition. when i run call of duty multiplayer, i can only play on non punkbuster servers, any other time receive an inadequate OS privledges error. and single player just plain doesnt work at all. so i figure theres gotta be a place where i can change the OS that winex is trying to emulate. i find that it was set win95, and i changed it to win2000. still got no love. and when i do get it to play the game runs rather choppy (annoying), especially when i know it runs so much smoother in windows -_- . i hate having to switch over to windows just to play a game, its the only reason i havent completely rid myself of microsoft.

any help here would be greatly appreciated.

have a peek at my cedega config file (excuse the size)

I believe Punkbuster is a Windows software client and thats probably why you are having issues its trying to activate (because you are trying to emulate windows) but it cannot because you are not on a windows OS.

Punkbuster has native versions for linux as well, Enemy Territory, Quake 3 and others use it. I don't think it'd work too well keeping track of games running in Wine though... probably not well at all. Can't really help cause I don't have that game, but check out the transgaming.org forums and see if you can find anything useful there
