Talking Blending Sci Fi series?

With Children of Dune coming on tonight, I was thinking of something funny. Wouldn't it be interestign to mix series together and make it into a story? I think I've seen some before, but one idea I had was you could blen Star Trek, Star Wars, and Dune.

The Evil Emperor Picard of the Federation Empire joined Darth Riker on the Star Destroyer Enterprise to begin to lay siege to Arrakis and stregnthen thier control on the Spice trade away from the Fernegi. Meanwhile, they send spies in to upset the house of Skywalker by assinating the father Anakin Skywalker, while Amadalia escapes with her son Luke to the desert, where they join the nomadic people of the Marquis...

And you could go on from there. I know, it's all dumb, but what fun!
