Kernal Panic: not syncing


Okay, I have installed linux on this computer before and this has never happend. I am trying to install Fedora 3 on a Compaq Presarrio 5200. When I boot from cd I get a Kernal Panic: not syncing. Can anyone please tell me a solution to this??

Pentium 350 mhz

could it possibly be because I have an old cd-rom??

Okay I figured out the problem. My computer had a bad MBR. I used and MBR tool and fixed the issue. All set.
