Installing FC6 on ipod

I have a 60 GB ipod which I am wanting to install fedora core 6 onto about 20GB of but i still want to be able to use it as a normal ipod also. Have looked around on the net and tried it a few times myself but it never seems to allow me to use itunes and listen to music afterwards.

Take a look at the iPod Linux site:

ipodlinux.org

it's, as far as I know, the best project at the moment to have Linux on your iPod, possibly as "dual-boot" with the original Apple software..remember that not all iPods can be used to install Linux onto them, and whatever you do, first remember to back up the old system.

OK Sorry I dont think I explained myself to well in my first post what I want is to be able to use my ipod as a second hard drive so to speak and have linux installed on it just like you would on a normal had drive but also at the same time if possible still be able to use it to listen to music. Not actually have linux installed for viewing on my ipod as is my understanding of ipodlinux.
