Fedora + 17" LCD

Ok, here's the problem:

Attempting to install Fedora, but upon entering the graphical installer my 17" Hercules Prophetview 920 Pro LCD monitor drops to standby saying there's no signal. Same thing happens after install in the little setup screen (managed to get there by a text install). Tried both DVI and RGB connections, no joy. Any help would be much appreciated.

You will have to edit your XF86Config file manually and input the Horiz/Vert sync ranges in from your monitor, you may also want to select Generic Vesa monitor to at least get X up and running before you mess with it too much.

**Before doing that though, when you get to the part where the monitor goes into standby mode (assuming you already have X configured) -- try hitting CTRL+ALT+(+)or(-) to see if switching resolutions gets you a screen. Otherwise hit CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE to get back to a prompt.
