LCD monitor "Pivot" function on linux?

Hi

Searching this forum nor googling didn't get me any answers so...

Is there any possibility to use LCD monitors Pivot-function on linux? I have Viewsonic VP171B monitor and there is included software for Windows.. but how about linux?

(To people who doesn't know what Pivot is: The screen can be turned into a "potrait" position. This is used for previewing text documents or something like that... )

There's a thing for KDE called krandrtray. It should let you change resolution and rotate the display. I don't know of any utility for GNOME, though.
