I am having this exact same problem. I have seen some news groups point to making SRPMS that can fix this, but it seems that you need to do this after installation when you have a working Linux system. I can install in text mode, but when it boots up it goes to initialize everything in graphical mode and then freezes. I would like to run the entire install in graphical mode - did you come up with any way to do that?

Thanks,
Mike
