Has anyone else had 'driver hell' problems with Fedora 14?
When I boot my system with headphones plugged in, speaker sound does not work. When I turn on my computer without the headphones plugged in, and subsequently plug in the headphones, I get ouput from the speakers and headphones.
When I try to install drivers for my epson dx4450 printer, they don't work.
When I try to use the built in mic on my laptop, the mic doesn't work.
Am i just being unlucky or have others had similar experiences. Have these been fixed in Fedora 15? I'm tempted to upgrade to the Beta and see how things work on. I used Ubuntu before with few probs. However, I really fancy a different flavour of Linux and would love to get Fedora working properly.
I hate the thought of leaving Fedora behind, because it has so many + points. However, so many things don't work that I may have to move to another distro.

I am currently running Fedora 15 beta. The only problem I am having is with the nouveau driver. It works fine until I suspend. On resume it crashes and locks up the system. Other than that everything works perfectly
