I recently installed Fedora 12 on my computer's second hard drive with XP on the first still but now find to get to GRUB, I have to tab when the comp is booting and am unable to get into XP but have no problem getting into Fedora (where I am able to see my XP files which contain my resumes, cover letters, a novel I'm writing, gaming files, music files etc but cannot seem to translate the Fedora lingo to access them via Fedora).
My computer is vital to my work search, research/writing and gaming apps...I need to find out why I cannot load XP or at least figure out how to migrate all my XP files that I can see through Fedora onto Fedora so I can resume my work search and hopefully get it sorted today (nothing like having a deadline eh?). Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Is it not listed under others ?
What is the contents of you're GRUB.cfg ?
Did you get error messages ?
XP does get listed as Other...In order to even get access to my XP hard drive I had to disconnect the 2nd drive with Fedora...I didn't see any error messages and I'll have to reconnect my 2nd drive to get back into Fedora to try finding out what's listed under GRUB. (I'm kind of knew to Linux/Fedora...been having too many errors with XP so I wanted to have FC12 on my second drive with the Dual Boot option so I could get used to Fedora and see if I could adapt to it and make it my main OS)
did you read the fedora " known problems" and the fedora install guide ---------------------
this is a VERY common problem
--------------------- http://docs.fedoraproject.org/ http://docs.fedoraproject.org/instal...12/en-US/html/
if you replaced MS's bootloader that edit your grub.conf file to point to the first drive( sda0)
and rename "other " to Windows
