yum problem?

Hi,
I just installed core 7 from the live CD and did some updates via yum.
I also installed emacs via yum.
But
]$ emacs
emacs: error while loading shared libraries: libungif.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

So I installed that lib using yum as well (was in some gif package).
Now:
$ emacs
Warning: arch-independent data dir (/usr/share/emacs/22.0.990/etc/) does not exist.
Warning: Lisp directory `/usr/share/emacs/22.0.990/site-lisp' does not exist.
Warning: Lisp directory `/usr/share/emacs/22.0.990/lisp' does not exist.
Warning: Lisp directory `/usr/share/emacs/22.0.990/leim' does not exist.
Cannot open load file: term/x-win

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Soren

I don't know what you did, but I just started up my F7 system (recently installed) and entered:

yum install emacs

It installed two packages: emacs and emacs-common. Emacs works fine.

Hi,
I re-installed and it worked fine. It might have been an error on the CD as a few sector errors were displayed on CD boot.

Thanks
Soren
