Will FC5 recognize another HDD/OS on Install?
I have been trying a few linux distros recently on my system. It consists of two HDDs, the first is 100GB the second is a 300GB. Currently I have Ubuntu on the 100GB and SUSE on the 300gb.
I'd like to give Fedora Core 5 a spin, and replace the Ubuntu install, but keep the install on the 300gb (SUSE). When I installed Ubuntu, their install process recognized that SUSE was on the other HDD, and at the end, it wrote out a combination GRUB so that when I rebooted I could choose which install to boot. I didnt have to modify the GRUB myself. SUSE also has this capability.
Has anyone had experience in doing this with FC5 to know if FC5 uses GRUB and will create a combination GRUB menu (menu.lst) at the end of the install?
Thanks in advance for your experiences.
