where is FC6's /usr/X11R6/lib ? i cann't find it ! HELP NEEDED IN URGENCE

I tried to compile a software named NCAR GRAPHIC,

The installation HOW-TO demand the library X11 should be installed first.

when it comes to configure step, it ask me where is my X11 library and it assumes this library reside in /usr/X11R6/lib. But it doesn't !!!

My os is Fedora Core 6, 64-bit architecture.

anybody can give me a hand .

Why not 'yum install ncarg' ?? Isn't that the right version ?? Or isn't it available for X64 ?? I'm using x86...

Checking the extras repo... ncarg-4.4.1-9.fc6.x86_64.rpm is available per default..
