Question Upgrade Gnome to 2.10

Hello!

I am a KDE user, but some days ago I switched to Gnome, just want to try it out some time.
FC3 comes with Gnome 2.8 and I want to upgrade now to version 2.10, are there some RPM's like the ones for KDE? I didn't found some. How can I upgrade Gnome without compiling it? I would prefer not to use "apt-get" or "yum" because of my bad i-net connection, I'd like to download RPM's with an download manger because it will take a day or two.

If I really need to use "yum" or "apt-get", what repositories do I need?

Also I've seen this "Gnome live cd" on gnome.org, will I be able to update with this cd, or is this it just to boot from it each time and so on...

Thank you!
Boby

This is how Linux users kill their boxes! We always want the latest and greatest. I suggest you rather wait till FC4!

I don't think there will be any GNOME 2.10 packages for FC3 whilst the developers are working on FC4. Maybe someone will create some unofficial packages so search on google or the websites of third party rpm packagers.

I hadn't seen your post because we seem to have replied at more or less the same time.

That's where I got mine from and they worked fine. I used apt-get.

But, you can download the RPMS there, too.
