Transparent terminal window in Fedora Core 13 KDE desktop

Hi there --

Is it possible to have a terminal window be transparent on the KDE desktop? The operating system is the Fedora Core 13 distro. Thanks.

Depends what terminal program you're using. aterm and eterm last I checked support transparency.

I'm pretty sure konsole supports transparency. I don't normally run KDE, so can't tell you where to look for the configuration option

get the name right
the name is NOT Fedora core 13
the fedora project dropped the "core" back in fedora 8
it is just
" Fedora 13 "

In Konsole menu go to settings-->Edit Current Profile-->Appearance-->Edit

You'll find the 'background transparancy' slider.
