I thought I had unrar installed, but apparently not. So I did:
[pedro@peterlaptop ~]$ yum provides /unrar

and got this:

Loaded plugins: presto, refresh-packagekit
Could not retrieve mirrorlist http://rpm.livna.org/mirrorlist error was
14: PYCURL ERROR 6 - ""
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: livna. Please verify its path and try again

What's gone wrong? livna down?

Probably a temporary dns problem
