A more complex question about repos. Reading a lot a documents about linux, I find out that there a more repos that can be added, but some of them are not compatible ! . In that conditions, how can I choose the ight repo ?
Example: how you choose between livna and freshrpm (I understood that tey are not compatible)? Which is better ? What has one and has not another ? Can you give me a hint or a link to clear documentation about this issue ?

Look up Gentoo then you do not have to worry about repositories or servers.

IMHO, In Linux is best to compile the program yourself. By doing this, you get what you want instead what you do not want.
