NTFS support


Hello I have just downloaded Fedora Core 3 and I need to add the support for NTFS file systems how can I do that??

P.S. and also what do I have to do so that I can use my screen at 85hz refresh rate I would go about in the xorg.conf file but everytime I do the systen never works after that

fc3 will contain read-only ntfs access already. it will most likely not contain rw support, as this should NOT be considered unless utterly essential (which is never is)

Download the ntfs module from here:

my prob is that I use x86_64 version of fedora I know that there should be a module for the kernel that will allow me to veiw the files I only need to read them anyway, but I don't know how to initalize it

You may need to recompile your own kernel .. it won't be too hard to recompile it..
