It's quite difficult to help if you don't explain your problem in a way that others can understand.

First you should give us some info:

What distribution is installed on your server?

Post the output of:
ifconfig
arping
false

Did the network "go away" without your intervention?
What did you do last when the system still worked?

As far as I can tell from your previous posts, you have a corrupt system, not a network problem. The network related message is (IMHO) caused by a non working arping.

It may be possible to repair your system by reinstalling the broken stuff, but if you don't get the network working (at least temporarily) this may be difficult.

One last thing: If you _really_ suspect your system has been hacked:
- Go and tell your manager
- Reinstall

Thanks for ur reply.
Actually the problem started like this.when a system is idle for 10 min then it will go screensaver page from there if we press any button then loging page will come back but before its totally got corrupted that login page wasnt coming only blank screen was coming.then after some days system was getting hanged.once i tried to take a print from thre but it wasnt coming to i removed that printer and try to add new printer.there i got a cups error.so i typed service network restart then it through the error /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup-eth:/ sbin/arping :/lib/ld-linux.so 2:bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory.
some other host already using this address.
when im typing ifconfig no ipaddress is taking.
when im typing arping its giving same error.when im typing false its giving nothing.
so i saw in lib directory so many files are missing.i have also checked glibc packages are also missing.so now i wantto repair os with linux rescue.this is fedora 13 64 bit OS.could u telme solution how to recover whole os from resuce mode.
expecting a reply

Before reinstalling, you should try to find out what happend.

If you've been hacked, you should do a complete reinstall.

You also might have hardware problems with your disk.

In either case, you should reinstall. You have backups of your data, don't you?

If the disk is broken you should replace it of course.

Another thing: Having a graphical login on a server is a "no go" (IMHO).

Did you login as root on the graphical login? (Don't know if that is possible in fedora - it should not)

Best regards
Olaf

Please spell out your words.

Boot from a live CD and backup your data
Boot from a live CD and run fsck against your drives.
Reinstall your system.

Kind regards

While I understand the urge to have your problem fixed you should not spread your "/lib/ld-linux.so 2:bad ELF interpreter / cannot execute binary file" problem across multiple threads as you have done here, here and here. This is inefficient and dilutes efforts to help you.

I suggest FUP's go to http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...e-mode-840957/.
