Mounting Multiple Windows Partitions

I have a dual boot system with Fedora 6 & Windows 2000 Professional. I have several partitions in Windows that I would like to be able to mount from within Fedora. I've added the following line to the fstab file, and it mounts the Windows "C" drive partition in Fedora:
"/dev/hda1 /mnt/win vfat noauto 0 0"

I've tried various combinations of the above to get the "E" drive mounted, but nothing works. Can anyone help me out?
Thanks....

Thanks for showing me the syntax for this command. The output is below:

428 /root ->/sbin/fdisk -lu /dev/hda

Disk /dev/hda: 60.0 GB, 60011642880 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 7296 cylinders, total 117210240 sectors
Units = sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hda1 * 63 40965749 20482843+ c W95 FAT32 (LBA)
/dev/hda2 40965750 117210239 38122245 f W95 Ext'd (LBA)
/dev/hda5 66573423 107539109 20482843+ b W95 FAT32
/dev/hda6 107539173 117210239 4835533+ b W95 FAT32
/dev/hda7 40965876 41174594 104359+ 83 Linux
/dev/hda8 41174658 66573359 12699351 8e Linux LVM

Partition table entries are not in disk order
429 /root ->

When I tried using "/dev/hda2 /mnt/win2 vfat noauto 0 0" I got the following error:
431 /root ->mount /mnt/win2
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hda2,
missing codepage or other error
(aren't you trying to mount an extended partition,
instead of some logical partition inside?)
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so

432 /root ->

Look carefully at your partition table. /dev/hda2 is the EXTENDED partition. It is not a single partition, it contains all the non-primary partitons.

Try again with /dev/hda5

I am curious what happened to your hda3 and hda4.

Thanks for the information. What you say makes sense. I tried it with hda5 and it worked fine. I'm wondering the same thing about 3 & 4.

Logical partitions always start from 5.

From man fdisk:
Quote:
The four primary partitions, present or not, get numbers 1-4. Logical partitions start numbering from 5.
