Question LT Winmodem RPM Package for Fedora

I have Fedora installed on my Maxdata laptop. My two NICs installed and working perfectly, but so far haven't located an RPM package compatible with this version of the kernel. My usual source (heby.de) doesn't seem to have caught up with this version yet.

Has anyone written drivers for the LT in Fedora Core 1, and can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Lyle

It seems that this may be what I'm looking for.

Can you give me the URL where you found it?

Thanks!

I would just like to add that there is a very nice encore (Intel) modem for $10 that has redhat source, and and RPM in a driver package. Not to mention that they also have BSD drivers etc... I bought about 6 of these modems for remote windows users, and our Linux fax server. The modems are rock solid, and like I said they work flawlessly with Linux, and the drivers are written by Intel so you know they are very effective. Here is the link to a good buy. The one that I own a lot of is the $10 one on the page. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...tby=14&order=1

BTW I wanted to just let you know that, I know you can not use this modem in your case (laptop) I was just simply suggesting this for others looking for modems packages etc...
