This problem happened to me twice. First time I tried to install FEDORA 5 and after this problem I never wanted to try that again...than somebody told me about Aurox distribution (core is still FEDORA) - OK.Let me try that one more time. But that happend again...

Problem is I have on my /hda drive :WIN XP: and I want to install on another drive (/hdc) Linux Aurox 11.1 ... The installation doosn't show me any other choices than install GRUB or None 'loader'.Than I could set if I want to install GRUB on /hda or /hdc. But when I installed GRUB (I tried both drives) so the system doesn't show anything - just: "L 99 99 99 99 99..." over screen - That mean I couldn't go to the LINUX OS and also I couldn't go to the WIN OS

=> PROBLEM

One more sentence: I'm really beginer of LINUX and also excuse my English

The 99 99 99 ... happens when you've screwed up the Master Boot Record (MBR). If you aren't completely committed to Fedora, might I suggest Ubuntu? It should install GRUB in a way that fixes this problem, and it will automatically detect and configure dual-booting into Windows.
