hemanthjjp LQ Newbie Registered: Jun 2004 Location: india Distribution: Fedora core 1 Posts: 17 Rep:	Kernel 2.6.3 boot error in FC1 Hi, I have compiled and installed kernel 2.6.3 successfully.The grub menu is edited using grubby command. On reboot I select the new entry in Grub menu and it starts normal booting process. But after some time i found TUX was sitting peacefully on the top left corner of my screen and the remaining screen is filled with vibrant colors.It hangs and nothig helps other than my reset button. But I remember last time I have installed FC1 and do 2.6.3 on it successfully and it boots with out that TUXY screen. IS any solution.Please help me! Sorry for my english !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
