Question Is there a shell terminal in fedora?


i just recently installed fedora 6 and i looked around, and could not find a termainal anywhere... is it called something different, or... is there a shell infedora... or was i not looking hard enough?

I haven't used Fedora in a while, but I imagine it would be under Applications or System Tools.

Same place as on any distribution I have worked with: Applications > Terminal.

ok... i'll cheak when i go back into fedora (i've spent the whole day switching from one OS to another)

There is one more thing you can do to have it handy, if you're a GNOME user.

Code:
[root@fedora ~]# yum install nautilus-open-terminal
Restart your X session and enjoy! You'll have a easy way to open a terminal, through a right click anywhere on the desktop.

Or press Alt + F2 and type gnome-terminal in the box.

I've added a terminal applet to my top panel. Right click on panel,> add to panel, >Application launcher, >Forward, >Accessories, >Terminal, >add.
