Is there a app. that will display IP address of box on desktop


I would like to have the IP address of my box displayed on my Desktop.
It will come in handy doing ssh.

Goto the terminal window and type "ifconfig eth0". That will display the IP address. If you just type "ifconfig" it will display all network device information.

Thanks, I guess I just wasn't thinking properly of such a simple solution.
