Group premissions question Fedora Core 6

Folks,

I'm using FC6 as a Linux file server. I've got an NFS share for the users Group folders as /groups/<group folder> that is autofs to the individual workstations.

Basically, I'd like the users to be able to create files in their group directories without having to use the newgrp command when ever they are creating or copying files to the various group folders.

Right now, if they don't use the newgrp command, they create files in their NFS group folders with the owner being their own account and the group ownership being their primary group account.

How do you fix this?

Oh, and the workstations are using RedHat 4 Enterprise Workstation U4.

Well, chgrp <group> <file> would work. But I guess what you really
mean is you want it all to be automatic so they don't have to know
the details of unix but just put the files in their respective dirs
and not have to run chgrp ?
