Google Maps not working in Firefox?

Am I missing a plugin? When trying out Google's new Maps feature, which supposedly has super-sexy vector graphics, etc., I get a grey rectangle where the map should be. URL: http://maps.google.com/

Am I the only one? Am I missing a plugin? FC2, Firefox 1.0

Make sure you have javascript in abled, I believe that is all it is using and it is working just fine for me in Firefox on MacOS and Linux.

Hmm.. may be a firewall issue, then.. Java is enabled...

ahh.. yep.. Firefox+Win2k and just now Win2k and IE are all failing here.. something about line 307, char 42, 'this.map' is null or is not an object oh well..
