Maybe not a HUGE problem - but a little anoying....
i use the google search text-boxie thing that comes with Moz Firefox (the one up top right) all the time. So there is always text in there.....I see a phrase while casually browsing the net or while on irc, i highlight it with the mouse, and then i go to X-paste (middle click) it into the google search box. But there is something already there, so i highlight that and delete it (removing my copied text from the X copy buffer) and then i have to find and re-highlight the text, come back and paste it again....
I know its such a small thing and there are many ways around it
- highglighting and deleting the text before highlighting the text i want to copy and paste into the google box.
- use the other copy buffer (ctrl-c, ctrl-c) which is really anoying and takes longer
- clicking in the box and doing ctrl-w (agian using the kb, sometiems im in a mouse mood)
anyone know of an extension that removes the text in the google box after you click enter, its stored in an auto-complete manner, and its rare you would want to search for the excact same thing twice in a row?
if not - is it XUL that is used to code these extensions?
anybody know of a good tutorial?
or if someone is bored thay can hack up something and post it

im sure a lot of google using people would find this useful....maybe :-/
cheers
