Danger
I am setting up this computer to be a Fedora / aGNULa music production box... how should i set up my hard disks... its going to be a specilist job anyway as the system archetecture is wierd:
HDA (primary) = 1 gig windows drive for backup (if/when it all goes brests aloft)
HDA (secondary) = 10 gig fat 32 audio drive (id like to use this to share audio fuiles between the two platforms.. but how?!?)
HDB (primary) = CD rom
HDB (secondary) Nothing as yet. but im looking for a cheep ide hard disk with plenty of space
then to make matters more interesting on a pci SCSI card I have: -
4.5 gig drive - im thinking of using this for '/swop' and possibly '/' aswell
(hopefully) 2 10gb drives, one of which id like to dedicate to application, /home and somwhere to put all the generated audio files
the other 10 gig drive will house.. .. .. whatever's left....
(thers also a SCSI cd writer on the bus aswell)
any advice? tips? tricks? 'DEAR GOD DONT DO THAT's would be welcome
