Fedora vs Red Hat.


Hi all,

I would like to know your opinions on Fedora Core 1 (Yarrow) vs Red Hat 9 Shrike.

Fedora Core 1 (Yarrow) vs Red Hat 9 Shrike.

What would you pick and why ?

well if they were my only two choices i would pick fedora cause it has support and updates ;-)

Im guessing your running it or have tested it.

Hows the stability compared to RH9?

never used it before ..
i run slackware ...
i just answered your question with the mindset if i only had the choice between the two, which i would pick and why ....

I agree with drozz for the same reasons he stated. Plus, I use it and have no problems. I've never had a stablity issue. I guess I've had a couple of small problem's with plugins and other minor stuff like that, but nothing I couldn't get past. Plus, just about all of RH9's programs and utilities are more dated than FC1's.
