Post Fedora I Screen Resolution

Hi, my Fedora I starts with a screen resolution of 1024x768, I need to change that to 800x600 @ 56Hz Because of my old monitor.

The thing is I don't know how, cause I can change my user's or root's screen properties, but when it boots it doesn't change until I'm logged.

Thanks!

Have you tried to edit your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file? Maybe it's "/etc/X11/XF86config" in FC1, I can't remember.

Are you refering to the Virtual terminal resolution?

Change a kernel option in lilo or grub to vga=771
