Yes it is, there is no grub config file to be found on your system, hence the bootloader never actually loads ....
this leads me to believe that your fedora install never completed.
I, ve never experienced it myself but I heard about similar issues because of bad iso's.
If you have Mandrake cd's available, try to install Mandrake and see if you get past grub, if you do and are still willing to try out fedora I would download the iso's again first.
im gonna install it on a different hard drive first...
although on that fedora install, everything looked to have completed, but then when it sent all the term signals and stuff, the monitor turned off (lost signal) and the computer stayed running...
so i just hit the reset button... do you think this could have killed it?
maybe, dunno for sure.
you could try and do a text install, if there are any problems with your x server at least you'll be able to install the os and we can deal with the x problems afterwards.
there should be an option for a text install when you first boot from the fedora cd, and it's not that different from a graphical install
