I am new to fedora. I downloaded FC4-I386-disc1.iso etc. Then I copied it to a cd-rom. However, when I put the cd-rom into the computer where I want to install fedora, the computer simply ignores it at boot-up, even though I can see the file on the disk. Any suggestions on how to fix the problem?
I copied it to CD using K3b CD Kreator of SUSE, it copied it as iso image file (I guess), it did not ask any questions regarding the format but did set iso level to level 2. The copied file has '.iso' extension, is there anything I can do to check?
I think booting from cdrom is the default on my machine. I was able to load linux 7.2 from cd on the same machine.
Am trying to install FC4. My computer BIOS is set to boot from CD and the files contained within the ISO image, not the ISO image is what I see on the CD. Have no idea what the problem could be.
