Yes, you can add gcc package in Fedora 14 . Please download the suitable package in Internet. You can install it through ADD/REMOVE softwares. To learn more about, please visit link at: http://linux-unix.co.cc .
I was booting in Live CD. Suppose i installed gcc package when i restart the machine the package is automatically removed. How to install permanently.
You cannot permanently change anything in a Live CD environment.
The only choices are to modify the Live CD or install Fedora to your hard drive (installing will make it much faster, too, since the hard drive is much faster than the CD drive).
If your computer can boot from USB memory, you can transfer the live CD to a USB stick; then you can add software to it. I think there are instruction on this at the Fedora site.
