FC4 - Xconfig

I'm interested in re-configuring the kernal [so I can get my sound working] and from what I've read this can be done by running xconfig.
Is xconfig included with FC4 or do I have to d/l the latest kernal to get it. I ran a search on my system and was unable to find it[??].

current kernal: 2.6.11

Thx...

Hi.

xconfig is part of the kernel source package. You could install the kernel devel package from yum or your installation CDs, or you can download the vanilla kernel sources from kernel.org.

Once you have the sources installed, you do 'make xconfig' in the source top directory to configure the kernel options.
