I'm not a Fedora user, but i have a simple question that i can't seemto find a simple answer to.. Does Fedora place emphasis on Gnome or KDE, or some other WM?
What is the default GUI for Fedora?
When I installed FC2 Gnome was the default but was given a choice to use KDE,TWM or XFce.I installed FC2 from a magazine DVD if that makes any difference.I was running Red Hat Enterprise 3 WS and Gnome was the default but could switch to KDE too.
When I installed FC2, you had to go into manual install, and select KDE as a desktop to install. Gnome was installed by default, and Like I said, you had to go in and select for KDE to be installed. I think that you could also select ICE...
how to start up fluxbox automatic instead of KDE after login??
I've got Fedora 2, and everytime I want to start my fluxbox I must press the sessions button and press nr. 1. Fluxbox, and the login. Is there a way that I just log on and it automaticly starts fluxbox instead of KDE ??

Try "yum install switchdesk*" to install the gui for the desktop switcher, then run "switchdesk". You should be able to choose the one you want. It works for setting KDE as default.
