Question compiz not enabling

Hi all,
I am using dell inspiron 1525 laptop. I am using linux fedora core 8 in my system. I have installed compiz in my system. While trying to enable the desktops effects, one message box is coming with the message "Desktop Effects could not be enabled". What is the actual problem here?

Run..
Code:
desktop-effects
..(from a terminal) and check the errors reported in the console.

Anyway, this is a very common problem which probably has to do with your video card's drivers - I'm sure a bit of googling would do you well.
