Autostart applications on Fedora.


Hello,

Can somebody tell me how to start applications on startup Fedora KDE Plasma 39 ?
Please "step-by-step" : I am not an expert !

did you check the official documentation? https://userbase.kde.org/System_Settings/Autostart

in that case would be nice to describe what did you try exactly and what's happened. "no success" can be solved only in line 42.

normally just placing a script in ~/.config/autostart/ will do the trick

Want Brave browser an Thunderbird to start at boot.

you cannot start at boot, first you need to start GUI (X server) and also you need to log in.

Autostart in Fedora KDE Plasma.

Hello,
I found the problem and, at the same time, the solution :
autostart is only working in X11 and not in Wayland, which is default in Fedora KDE Plasma 39, which I am using !
