Unhappy Auto start eht1 with machine

FC4 on HP 64-bit.
The second ethernet (eth1) don't start each time the machine start. I go to System Tools/Network dispositives, eth1: start. I take 'start the device when Linux start' but don't do it. The eth0 device work nice with this feature.

How to force auto start with comands?

If your system uses ifup/down, check "man 5 interfaces"

i had a 'netup.sh' on my gateway the brings all the interfaces up with dhcp / static whatever and you could easily make one of these rather then clicking a box on your gui.

if you use dhcp then add something like dhcpcd eth1 and if you have static then bring it up with ifconfig and give it a default gateway with route.
