What kernel-image for AMD?

My server has an AMD Athlon XP 2500+, but are the K7 images suited to it, or would I be better off going for another image like the i386 or i686 - and which one?

Help appreciated.

Definitely the K7 (duron/athlon) is what you should choose. Other images will install but won't do justice to your processor.
