USB-stick easy solution (KDE 3.4+)

Since I read a lot of questions about usb-sticks (and had quite a fight with it myself) it might help someone to post this very easy solution. It works in KDE 3.4+. No need to edit fstab or any file it actually works straight away.
Got to mention I'm on SID but testing should have this aswell but you need KDE 3.4+

Code:
# apt-get install hal pmount
Code:
# adduser username plugdev
Plugin a usb device and in Konqueror under Services - Storage Media an icon appears (left bar in Konqueror).

Make the icon appear on the desktop can be set aswell. Right click on the desktop and select configure desktop - Behaviour - Device Icons. Mark 'Show device icons' and make sure 'Mounted Removable Medium' is marked in the list. Save settings and you're done.

Mounting using the console can still be done with pmount, so you have both the options.

Hope it helps someone!
