Stretch - Nautilus shows disconnected Android Phone

I'm using Debian Stretch/Gnome 3.22

I have an Android phone that I sometimes plug into the PC to transfer files. This works fine, but after unplugging the phone, it stays listed in Nautilus. If the phone is plugged/unplugged several times, it will be listed in Nautilus multiple times. This happens whether or not I tell the PC before I unplug it.

If I right click on one of these phantom phones, remove is dimmed.

See screenshot here (XT1060 is the phone)

Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks!

Mark

I've had the exact same problem on my Void Cinnamon box. Of course cinnamon uses Nemo, I found if I log out and back in it clears the somtimes many Android entrys. It didn't really bother me except its a pain to go clicking all the different Android entrys to find out which is the current one I also had trouble doing anything on the phones external sdcard.

How I solved it? Well I decided to switch to the xfce DE for totally unrelated reason(lighter on my ageing pc). And found that the Thunar works flawlessly, even on the sd.
