Setup as getting debian testing files from ftp - will it stay with testing

I'm wondering - I have installed my system with the new debian installer floppies and am using the testing packages (sarge). When sarge goes stable, I'll still be using the testing packages (whatever the next debian release will be called), right?

It depends on what you have in your sources.list.
Code:
# Testing
deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ testing main non-free contrib
deb http://nonus.debian.org/debian-non-US testing/non-US main contrib non-free
With something like this then you continue to track the testing branch when Sarge is released as new stable.

Code:
# Testing
deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ sarge main non-free contrib
deb http://nonus.debian.org/debian-non-US sarge/non-US main contrib non-free
With this when sarge is released as new stable then you will be running sarge/stable.

The next release after Sarge is named Etch.

cool. let's hope Etch doesn't take 2 friggin years to become stable.

although Sarge is a pretty cool name.

it will definately be nice to be able to draw anything my heart desires on the little magnetic display and then shake it away as I please.
