Question Nothing in Konsole (Debian testing)

Hi,

I install Debian (in Testing) last week. When I open a console in KDE as normal user(of course!), the window console appears, but I can do nothing.

I'm in a french environnement ... locale are set to : fr_CA.

What can I do to solve the problem?

what do you mean by i can't do nothing. Have you installed locales packages or reconfigured it, do you have LANG variable set in your profile?

hi,

nothing = no prompt in the console, only a cursor. When i type something, nothing appears to the screen.

The locale have been set during the installation. (the console never works).

Thanks.
