SCSI hard drive

Hello !!

i have juste get a HP netserver E40 with 2 SCSI hard drive(2go each) under a 200Mhz intel pro...

the SCSI card is a adaptec AIC-7850 ...

So, when i boot with the debian CD, it cannot found any hard drive and propose to insert a floppy to install some driver ...

Anybody know this type of installation ???

Lightbulb SCSI hard drive
Debian is known for using kernels than are too old to be useful. boot from the 'bf2.4' cd and try agen. The kernel on cd one is very old.

Ok,
I don't remember if i try with kernel 2.4 but i will try tonight and i 'll tell soon if it work!!!!

coooooooooooooool !!!

i boot with kernel 2.4 and it work !!!!!

it have just to install the latest apache and php to have my image album server !!!!
