Question about apt-show-versions

Hi,

I've recently upgraded my Linux machine from Lenny to Squeeze.
My present source.lists is:

Quote:
deb http://debian.fastweb.it/debian/ squeeze main
deb http://security.debian.org/ squeeze/updates main
The output of apt-show-versions -u shows nothing, so (I think) my system is up-to-date.
But if I type:

apt-show-versions |grep -v uptodate

I get:

I'm not sure but are you trying to do a full upgrade to squeeze?

They are packages that were in Lenny but are not for whatever reason available in Squeeze, nothing wrong with having them installed.

But if they aren't needed you might want to remove them.
