Problems installing MySQL

When ever I try to install Mysql 4.1 from within Apt, I am receiving
this error:

Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
E: Couldn't find package mysql-client-4.1

I have created a local repository with that package as well. Any ideas?

Did you add the local repository to your /etc/apt/sources.list? If you did, did you apt-get update before trying to install?

it seems to be in the sarge repositories (i have main non-free contrib). Post your /etc/apt/sources.list because apt-get install mysql-server-4.1 should work just fine.
