problem with sid, not being able to load keymaps

I've installed Sarge and then upgraded to unstable. Now, while booting I get an error about not being able to load the keymaps, and it also suggests to run install-keymap, which I do, but it fails with an error about not being able to connect to the shell or something.

Anyone knows how to solve this?

Hi,

run "dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg" (without the quotes)

it will asks you about keymaps. Choose what you need at this moment.
You can install unstable downright at the prompt for install by choosing

expert26

I don't even have xorg installed yet.

How about "dpkg-reconfigure console-data"?
